Water
When I experience a place, I am moved by the scale of the landscape, and the minute details of the many building blocks of earth that ultimately are compounded to compose the scene. This gives me inspiration beyond capturing images of the unique, yet ubiquitous nature of both organic and inorganic objects. My still life paintings incorporate the micro and the macro view. My aim is to convey the magic that holds the planet together in details and textures from alternate perspectives, lingering to ponder the reflections in water surfaces and the fractal nature of organic shapes repeated with infinite variations.
